Your Daily Life

The Cannes site is responsible for the design of satellite systems & platforms, the assembly/integration/testing of satellites, and in-orbit operations. The site has expertise in optical instrumentation and avionics.

Within the Digital Solutions Competence Center, the Ground Software discipline designs, develops, and maintains the software solutions for the ground exploitation of space systems. Our teams work on critical projects for satellite control, mission data processing, ground operation automation, and the integration of innovative digital solutions.

Joining our teams means contributing to large-scale space programs and participating in the digital transformation of tomorrow's ground systems.

As part of the development of our activities, we are looking for a Ground Software Developer (M/F) to strengthen our teams in the Digital Solutions Competence Center.

Integrated into a multidisciplinary project team, you will contribute to the development of ground software solutions for various space programs. You will be involved in all or part of the software development cycle, from requirements analysis to integration, validation, and technical support.

You will participate in the creation of systems such as:

• Satellite control and command centers,
• Supervision and monitoring systems,
• Mission data processing chains,
• Tools for preparing and automating operations,
• User interfaces for space system exploitation.

Missions

As a Ground Software Developer, you may be involved in various technical environments, from backend to frontend development, including the integration of distributed services or cloud solutions.

Your missions will be:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications (primarily in Java, Python)
• Implement scalable and secure microservices architectures according to projects
• Participate in code reviews, continuous improvement, and technical documentation
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate developments into CI/CD pipelines
• Optimize application performance and resolve technical issues
• Work using Agile/Scrum methodology with product and quality teams
• Collaborate with systems, IVVQ, cybersecurity, operations, and support teams

Your Profile

You have a degree from an engineering school or equivalent university education in computer science, software, or systems.

You have successful prior experience in software development, acquired in an industrial environment, on complex systems or systems with high constraints.

You master:

• Java, Python, C development
• Containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Microservices architectures and their deployment on the cloud
• Backend and frontend application development
• Version control tools (Git), continuous integration, and CI/CD
• Best practices for testing, documentation, and code review
