Within industries such as Retail, Luxury, pure players, or tourism, Data is at the core of the business. It involves mastering the Data ecosystem to offer a complete view of customer knowledge, performance, and optimization of each media asset, from global strategy to local activation. Davidson has recognized expertise that allows us to intervene in various project phases, including Consulting and organization, Scoping, Definition, Design, or Optimization. Our consultants work on Data Engineering, Data Analytics, and Data AI projects.

Your Role as Data Engineer/Data Analyst

Your role will be to take charge of all the Data transformation steps:

• Develop and maintain data pipelines:
  • Sourcing data (Datalake BigQuery)
  • Downloading assets via API
  • Automating AI processes (embedding, clustering)
• Transform raw data from the Datalake into optimized tables.
• Optimize backend deployment on GCP.
• Modernize technical components (thumbnail, product-detection, encoder) with more modern and optimized approaches.
• Optimize the CI/CD chain.
• Develop SQL queries to source data in Datalake tables, based on inputs from the Data Business Owner.
• Document retrieved data from the Datalake with documents and data schemas.
• Ensure the quality of data consolidated in the application compared to source data.
• Analyze and cross-reference data to generate new insights (e.g., creative data that generates the most performance) and benchmarks.

Project Examples

• For a client in the luxury sector: Definition of new user journeys (wireframes) as part of the deployment of the Digitalization of points of sale program in France and Europe.
• For another client: Management and optimization of the Roll out of a new e-commerce platform in an EMEA context.
• For a player in Tourism: Writing User Stories and prioritizing the product Back Log for a B2B booking application (Hotels and Call Center).
• For a Retail client: Multi-component impact studies as part of the redesign of an e-commerce ecosystem (CMS, PIM, DAM, e-commerce component, etc.).
