Your daily life

At the heart of Saint Quentin en Yvelines, the Elancourt site is one of Thales's most important technological centers of excellence. The diversity and technicality of systems and equipment mobilize know-how in over 80 professions in high-tech defense, security solutions and digital services.

For Thales DMS (Defense Mission System) France, we are looking for a Configuration Manager within the Transverse Operations Directorate, responsible for managing the configuration of several products for the 2 Business Lines. You will collaborate with program managers and engineering teams in charge of developing the entrusted products.

Your main missions will be:

• Analyze contractual requirements and define the Configuration Management activities necessary for projects to meet customer needs
• Translate Configuration Management requirements and rules to subcontractors and/or partners
• Establish the Project / Product configuration management plan and ensure its application throughout the life of the Projects
• Plan Configuration Management activities and milestones on projects
• Contribute to developing business and product structures in various development and design domains
• Edit, verify, and validate the Applicable Configuration / Applied Configurations reports on products in qualification, awaiting delivery, or received for maintenance
• Prepare and lead Configuration Audits (Functional and Physical)
• Prepare and lead Change Request Management committees on files
• Measure the performance of the Configuration Management activities implemented on projects
• Provide support and advice to users on the configuration management process and tool, as well as its peripheral applications

Your profile

With an Engineering degree or equivalent, you have confirmed experience in Engineering and successful experience in configuration management (Development / Production). You have mastered configuration management processes and Product Lifecycle Management tools (Palma or equivalent) with a technical facts management tool (JIRA or equivalent). You are recognized for your ability to work in a team and lead multi-disciplinary teams. You are proactive, work with rigor and autonomy. You are responsive, pragmatic and have a sense of organization.
