At Cs Group Solutions we are looking for a Hardware engineer!

We intervene in the development of industrial IoT uses, with a position at the interface between business needs, field equipment, communication architectures, and data integration into the IoT ecosystem. We offer a technical environment focused on industrial IoT, LoRaWAN, 4G/5G, gateways, network servers, IoT platforms, and industrial sensors, with tools such as SharePoint, JIRA/Confluence, Chirpstack, GitLab, PuTTY, and an internal IoT platform. The position is part of an Agile project environment, and we are looking for someone who appreciates subjects that combine field work, communication, equipment, and data.

Responsibilities

• We analyze business needs and field constraints for IoT use cases.
• We identify and compare technical solutions: sensors, transmitters, IoT modules, gateways, power supplies, communication interfaces.
• We define measurement and transmission chain architectures adapted to the industrial context.
• We study the integration of sensors and field equipment: temperature, pressure, 4-20 mA, TOR, Modbus, RS485, etc.
• We develop detailed plans for the integration of IoT devices.
• We participate in the qualification of communication solutions, particularly LoRaWAN.
• We create prototypes / MVPs to validate end-to-end technical feasibility.
• We integrate equipment into the target environment: gateway, network server, IoT platform.
• We develop, adapt, or test codecs / payload decoders to interpret frames reported by equipment.
• We verify the consistency, robustness, and exploitability of the reported data.
• We produce associated technical deliverables: analysis notes, comparisons, schematics, solution files, test reports.
• We work in coordination with technical experts, project managers, integrators, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or equivalent in electronics, embedded systems, telecommunications, industrial computing, or IoT.
• First experience or confirmed experience in IoT, instrumentation, system integration, or industrial environment.
• Good understanding of industrial IoT architectures.
• Knowledge of sensors and instrumentation chains.
• Mastery or good knowledge of LoRaWAN.
• Knowledge of industrial protocols and interfaces: 4-20 mA, TOR, Modbus, RS485.
• Familiarity with integrating data into IoT platforms.
• Ability to read, adapt, or develop scripts for processing / decoding payloads.
• Ability to design and test a complete chain: sensor, IoT object, gateway, network server, platform.
• Ability to investigate technical subjects and compare multiple solutions.
• Technical analysis and synthesis skills.
• Ability to clearly formalize a solution.
• Proficiency in writing technical deliverables.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders: business, project, experts, suppliers.
• Pragmatic approach focused on field feasibility.
• Strong interest in subjects combining field work, communication, equipment, and data.
