Responsibilities

  • Contribute to project success by managing technical activities of the team including workload planning, scheduling, and progress reporting.
  • Collaborate closely in co-engineering with system engineering during definition phase and test engineering during verification and qualification phases.
  • Act as technical referent for the section and participate in continuous improvement actions of practices, processes, and tools within the service and/or competence center.

About the Role

Located 20 minutes from the Paris-Saclay technology hub, the site is one of the largest surface radar centers of excellence. The team develops, designs, integrates, and tests airborne surveillance radars dedicated to target detection and identification.

Within the Radar Embedded Processing competence center, the DEL service is responsible for developing real-time Backend software for all surface radar surveillance or multifunction radars.

The Backend software, the core of radar processing, consists of three processing chains: command & control (interface between operator and system), sequencing (ensures radar timing and antenna control for all emission modes), and detection chain (signal and data processing extracting characteristics of objects in airspace).

You will work as Backend development lead for MFR projects based on Sea Fire and Ground Fire technologies.

Profile

  • Engineering degree or equivalent Bac +5.
  • Experience in real-time software development under Linux.
  • Initial experience managing a software development team.
  • Dynamic, team-oriented, analytical, synthetic, and rigorous.
