Job Description
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Upbrella, you will be responsible for the design, analysis, and optimization of mechanical systems used in our innovative construction solutions. You will work closely with the design and construction teams to ensure the efficiency, safety, and durability of our solutions and products.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical systems (structural, lifting, and material handling) for construction projects
- Perform technical analyses and simulations to optimize system performance and drive value and innovation
- Supervise the installation and commissioning of mechanical equipment on job sites and certify compliance with applicable standards and regulations
- Collaborate with internal design, construction, and engineering teams as well as external partners to integrate mechanical systems
- Prepare technical reports and project documentation
- Coordinate engineering work with international subcontractors
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in the field
- Proficiency in CAD software (Autodesk suite)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Solid understanding of core mechanical concepts and ability to apply them in an innovative environment
- Experience and interest in material handling, overhead cranes, hoists, and automation
- Ability to lead and oversee a team of 4 to 8 people
- Bilingualism is a strong asset due to international projects.
