Job Description
As part of our business development, we are recruiting an RF Project Engineer (HF RFID).
Within one of the R&D teams (25 people), you will be responsible for designing RFID antennas for various applications. You will act as both a project manager and an RF engineer, leading your projects while also contributing operationally to design and testing. You will actively contribute to innovation projects around RFID technologies.
To do this:
- Based on specified technical constraints, you will participate in the design of new RFID products meeting the expected performance.
- You will define handling plans to characterize the tests to be performed (RF performance, materials…).
- You will carry out laboratory tests during the feasibility, development, and qualification phases of RFID projects.
- You will manage your projects, ensuring follow-up of the budget, schedule, and resources.
- You will coordinate and facilitate exchanges with the teams, as well as with suppliers, external partners, and occasionally clients.
- You will contribute to research programs requiring RF expertise by proposing innovative approaches and participating in patent drafting.
- You will provide technical support for internally developed products for production and externally during their integration at client sites.
- You will participate in technological and regulatory watch in the RFID field.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electronics or Radiofrequency Engineering.
- Significant experience or confirmed expertise in active or passive RFID technologies.
- Ideally, knowledge of the Smart Card universe (ISO/IEC14443).
- Your experience has allowed you to work in project mode within cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in office and CAD software (e.g., Autocad, KIKAD) and Microsoft Project is an additional asset. Notions of statistical tools, design of experiments, and software programming would be appreciated (simulation software: SPICE, or programming: C / C# or Python).
- You are recognized for your proactivity, teamwork, and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. With good communication skills, you can evolve effectively in a demanding project and technological environment.
- Your English level allows you to lead meetings in English.
Location & Benefits
- Permanent contract based in Rousset, 16 km from Aix en Provence and 45 km from Marseille.
- Fixed salary + variable + profit sharing and incentive + health insurance + Works Council benefits.
- 218-day work schedule with 5 weeks of vacation + RTT (Reduced Working Time).
