IN Groupe (4,000 employees) is a global leader in secure identity and transaction solutions. Within the group, the SPS industrial site (250 employees) specializes in the design, manufacturing, and marketing of secure electronic components for the banking, identity, and connected object sectors. For over 20 years, our human-sized R&D team has been imagining and developing innovative components that will be integrated into everyday secure objects (secure connected objects, bank cards, and identity documents). RFID antennas integrated into contactless cards, electronic inlays, smart card modules, or dual-interface solutions (contact and contactless): SPS R&D develops cutting-edge technologies protected by several patents.

As part of our business development, we are recruiting an RF Project Engineer (M/F).

Responsibilities

Within one of the R&D teams (25 people), you will be responsible for designing RFID antennas for various applications. You will act as both a project manager and an RF engineer, leading your projects while operationally contributing to design and testing. You will actively contribute to innovation projects around RFID technologies.

For this:

  • Based on specified technical constraints, you will participate in the design of new RFID products meeting expected performance levels.
  • You will define handling plans to characterize the tests to be performed (RF performance, materials…).
  • You will conduct laboratory tests during the feasibility, development, and qualification phases of RFID projects.
  • You will manage your projects, ensuring follow-up of budget, schedule, and resources.
  • You will coordinate and facilitate exchanges with teams, as well as with suppliers, external partners, and occasionally clients.
  • You will contribute to research programs requiring RF expertise by proposing innovative approaches and participating in patent drafting.
  • You will provide technical support for internally developed products for production and externally during their integration at client sites.
  • You will participate in technological and regulatory watch in the RFID field.

Qualifications

With a degree in Electronics or Radiofrequency Engineering, you have significant experience or confirmed expertise in active or passive RFID technologies. Ideally, you are familiar with the Smart Card universe (ISO/IEC14443).

Your experience has allowed you to work in project mode within cross-functional teams. Proficiency in office and CAD software (e.g., Autocad, KIKAD) and Microsoft Project is an additional asset. Knowledge of statistical tools, design of experiments, and software programming would be appreciated (simulation software: SPICE, or programming: C / C# or Python).

You are recognized for your proactivity, your team spirit, and your ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. With good communication skills, you can effectively operate in a demanding project and technological environment.

Your English level allows you to lead meetings in English.
