Pour accompagner un projet stratégique de 24 mois, nous recherchons un Ingénieur Service Client basé à Lille ! Notre équipe Sample Management Solutions (SMS) recherche un nouveau talent pour soutenir une mission de projet de deux ans au sein de notre équipe Field Service Engineering.
How You’ll Add Value
As a Field Service Engineer (fixed-term, 24‑month project assignment), you will provide routine and on‑demand technical services at our customer’s site. This includes installation, upgrades, repairs, and preventive maintenance of Azenta systems and equipment. You will work closely with advanced technologies in low‑temperature environments—automated storage systems, transport robots, liquid nitrogen technology, and related automation equipment. Your primary work location will be on-site at our customer’s facility in Lille, France, supporting the successful delivery of a dedicated project over a two‑year period. Your first year will focus on specialized training, including travel to our international sites in EU/UK and partially US.
What You’ll Do
• Resolve customer issues and ensure compliance with service agreements on-site. • Perform maintenance on equipment/systems: software & hardware installation, upgrades, diagnostics, repairs, preventive maintenance. • Analyze issues, identify root causes/corrective actions, and monitor performance. • Support operational handling of customer-managed biological samples. • Collaborate with global teams. • Prepare documentation such as service and status reports. • Respond to occasional emergencies related to equipment or production failures. • Maintain loaner equipment. • Support administrative and organizational tasks (quotes, equipment shipments, etc.).
What You’ll Bring
• Completed vocational training or Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field. • Hands-on experience with electrical systems, machinery, or automation equipment. • Strong electrical and mechanical safety knowledge. • Fluent in French and English. • Experience with troubleshooting and structured root cause analysis. • Valid driver’s license. • Good PC skills (Windows / DOS). • Willingness to travel domestically/internationally and to occasionally work weekends/on-call.

Preferred
• Experience with refrigeration systems. • Experience with Oracle.
