Your Mission

Within the Front Tech team, you will contribute to the evolution and reliability of strategic applications based on a microservices and APIs architecture. At the crossroads of development and infrastructure, you will play a key role in system robustness, deployment automation, and technical architecture decisions. You will work in close collaboration with architects, developers, and infrastructure teams to ensure high-performing, reliable, and perfectly operational applications in production.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the evolution of the technical architecture of Front Tech applications and their APIs.
• Ensure the reliability and performance of Java microservices in production.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, architects, and developers to continuously improve applications and APIs.
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation processes.
• Promote applications from the software factory to production, ensuring a high level of quality.
• Implement advanced observability and monitoring solutions to anticipate incidents and improve system resilience.
• Diagnose production incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and propose sustainable improvements.
• Support developers on application reliability, performance, and operability challenges.
• Integrate and maintain certain software components from third-party vendors.
• Contribute to a data-driven approach to manage system performance and stability.

Your Future Technical Environment

• Main Technologies: Java, Spring, JVM, Microservices & REST APIs, Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines
• Data & Observability: PostgreSQL, Oracle, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus
• Network & Security: Reverse proxy (Apache), Networking, TLS / SSL
• Puppet, Python, Bash, Cloud (AWS / Azure), NoSQL (MongoDB, Elasticsearch)

Who You Are

You are a DevOps with a strong application sensitivity, capable of bridging the gap between infrastructure and code.

Key Skills

• Solid expertise in Java / Spring / JVM
• Experience in REST API design
• Good command of SQL (PostgreSQL, Oracle)
• Experience in CI/CD and deployment on Linux / Kubernetes
• Mastery of monitoring and observability tools

Education & Framework

• Engineering degree or Master's degree (EPFL or equivalent)
• Fluent French and/or English
• Residence in Switzerland required
