About

You will join the department responsible for Multi-Physics simulation at CESTA. Its mission is to develop simulation chains to simulate stealth and atmospheric re-entry phenomena.

To carry out these simulations, it is essential to have extremely precise meshes adapted to the different prerequisites of the codes. Furthermore, the increase in computing power makes it possible to perform increasingly fine simulations on increasingly complex geometries (CAD) (especially 3D), leading to more difficult meshing.

The laboratory you could join implements software solutions to federate and automate meshing activities.

You will be integrated into a dynamic team that develops cutting-edge solutions for DAM's computing architectures. These solutions involve the use of appropriate programming models as well as the choice of numerical methods and parallel algorithms.

You will also be responsible for contributing to the scientific and technological outreach of the department in the field of meshing by:

Candidate Profile

You hold an engineering or PhD degree in computer science and/or applied mathematics;

You have a first successful experience in this field;

Curious and organized, you are capable of working in a team and know how to report.
