At Nemera, we are passionate about developing innovative drug delivery solutions that truly make a difference in patients' lives. To support our continued growth, we're looking for a Innovation Manager M/F/X (Technology Product Manager) to join our team in Lyon (HQ Gerland).

The Innovation Manager - Parenteral is the technical and scientific reference for Nemera's parenteral drug delivery systems (pens, safety systems, autoinjectors, onbody injectors). The role focuses on translating patient and pharmaceutical customer needs into robust, industrializable, and differentiating solutions, while managing the Parenteral BU innovation portfolio. This position plays a key role in technological differentiation, portfolio growth, and longterm value creation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and manage the EarlyStage innovation portfolio in collaboration with Category Managers.
  • Translate market and customer needs into technical briefs and innovation concepts.
  • Lead and coordinate EarlyStage initiatives as Program Manager / Product Development Leader until project launch.
  • Monitor technology trends, regulatory evolutions, and competitor solutions in the parenteral ecosystem.
  • Drive technology scouting, benchmarking, and patent analyses to support the innovation roadmap.
  • Provide highlevel technical expertise during portfolio reviews and customer interactions.
  • Develop and manage external partnerships (suppliers, startups, research institutes, universities).
  • Represent Nemera at scientific conferences, technical committees, and industry working groups.
  • Strengthen Nemera's scientific credibility through publications, webinars, and conferences.

What we're looking for

  • Engineering degree.
  • 15+ years' experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
  • Strong expertise in parenteral drug delivery systems.
  • Broad technical background (mechanics, materials, processes, electronics).
  • Solid knowledge of regulatory and normative requirements (ISO 13485, ISO 11608, MDR, FDA, Human Factors).
  • Proven experience leading transversal, multidisciplinary projects.
  • Strong leadership, influence, and communication skills.
  • Strategic and creative mindset with a pragmatic, handson approach.
  • Ability to connect innovation drivers across formulation, device, and patient usability.
  • Fluent in English and French.
