Instructor for UI/UX Design

Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for a UI/UX Design Instructor at the HiiT Kano Branch located in Kano. The Instructor will be responsible for teaching students the principles and practical applications of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design. Day-to-day tasks include creating training materials, guiding students through hands-on projects like mockups and prototypes, and ensuring students have a strong knowledge of UI/UX Design. The role will involve mentoring students and equipping them with industry-relevant skills to excel in UI/UX design.

Qualifications

• Skills in creating Mockups and Prototyping for web and mobile applications
• Proficiency in Visual Design and User Experience Design (UED) principles
• Experience and knowledge in Front-End Development for designing user interfaces
• Strong teaching and mentoring abilities to guide learners effectively
• Ability to break down complex concepts into easily digestible lessons
• Prior experience in the tech training or education sector is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Design, IT, or related field is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
