About

You’ll be embedded within our commissioning team on Hinkley Point C. You will work alongside software and hardware experts to deliver I&C systems. You will be responsible of ensuring the Control Command Nuclear Safety related is qualified before fuelling the HPC reactors. It will require a high level of professionalism and handling of the human factors. Your future team will ensure high-performance, safe, and compliant commissioning across the reactor system and the auxiliaries systems information used in the safety guardelines.

Principal missions

  • Commissioning and testing Instrumentation & Control (I&C) systems across HPC plant units as part of the OEM’s team.
  • Conducting root cause analysis and troubleshooting of automation and control faults.
  • Leading diagnostic testing on TXS, UNICORN.
  • Overseeing calibration and verification of field instrumentation linked to the cabinets.
  • Supporting integration and testing within the plant control systems.
  • Coordinating with system engineering, operations,maintenance.
  • Ensuring all testing activities are aligned with nuclear safety standards and plant procedures.
  • Being an example in procedure use and adherence avoiding “blind PU&A”
  • Having a high level of human performance and quality in delivering the tasks.
  • Managing documentation for commissioning progress, non-conformances, and system handover.
  • Ensuring deep first line analysis before raising concerns and work requests.
  • Taking part of problem resolution groups.
  • Flexibility will be asked on the location as being part of I&C taskforces in Europe.
  • This job is not flexible and requires a daily presence on site, therefore you are eligible for a site allowance.
