Role Overview
We’re looking for an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business, including state‑of‑the‑art industrial and commercial facilities. You will be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, provide on‑site assistance during startup, and coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize control systems for a variety of processes.
- Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document/model design information.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards.
- Produce control system designs and develop options/optimizations for process control, instrumentation, and automation.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver complete, world‑class solutions for new facilities.
- Provide on‑site assistance during startup and coordinate work activities with team members and the discipline lead.
- Participate in a multi‑disciplinary, highly interactive team environment and benefit from expert mentorship.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience working with instrumentation and controls.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of DDC, PLC, DCS, and other controls applications.
- Experience working with data centers.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Forward‑thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute innovative ideas.
- Ability to learn quickly and broaden knowledge base.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Passion for buildings and construction.

Salary Range
- Base salary: $69,500 – $95,500 (determined by work location, skills, experience, and education/training).
