Account Executive

We are seeking an experienced full time Account Executive located in our Dover, DE location.

The ideal candidate will have independent insurance agency experience and possess a reliable work ethic, deep knowledge of insurance products and carriers, and be capable of multi-tasking as well as working independently to service our clients.

Position Overview

• Prompt & thorough processing of new and renewal policies, as well as certificates, evidence of insurance, ID cards, and client requests
• Collaborate with producers, underwriters, and leadership to provide total account management
• Communicate with agency departments & external companies regarding billing updates
• Ensures strict confidentiality of customer information
• Assists with other projects and duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience within an independent insurance agency or brokerage
• Active Delaware P&C insurance license is required
• Experience with Applied EPIC is an asset
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry across multiple websites
• Strong time management & organizational skills
• Clear & concise communication skills
• Ability to function well in fast-paced environment
