Paracel Laboratories, a full-service environmental lab, is seeking an Intermediate Laboratory Analyst to enhance its Mississauga team. The candidate should possess strong skills in asbestos identification and quantification, particularly using PLM and PCM. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to ISO standards, vital for ensuring high-quality lab operations and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze asbestos samples via PLM and PCM
• Follow SOPs to ensure compliance with QA/QC protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation and manage sample scheduling
• Utilize LIMS for data entry and reporting tasks
• Assist in training new analysts and maintaining lab cleanliness

Requirements

• College Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific field
• 2–3+ years of experience in asbestos analysis
• Knowledge of QA/QC and ISO standards
• Strong manual dexterity for microscopy tasks
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
