About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Intermediate QA Engineer to join our dynamic data team. You will assist in testing, validating, and maintaining software quality, collaborating closely with senior QA engineers and development teams. This role is ideal for professionals who value clean, efficient, and reliable QA practices, and enjoy contributing to the delivery of high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities Test Execution • Execute manual test cases and document results. • Assist in defect identification, reporting, and tracking. Automation Support • Support automation efforts using Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools. • Participate in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Collaboration & Process Improvement • Collaborate with developers and QA team members to ensure quality standards. • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement. Requirements & Qualifications Must-Have Skills • 2–4 years QA experience in manual and/or automated testing. • Experience with Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation tools. • Basic understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies. Highly Desirable Skills • API testing knowledge (Postman, SoapUI). • Familiarity with CI/CD and cloud-based testing environments. Education • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Additional Information • Contract Duration: 12 Months (with possibility of renewal) • Salary: Negotiable • Location Options: Johannesburg / Cape Town / Remote • Must be located in South Africa or hold a valid SA work permit
