A masters degree is a plus. Proven experience (5+ years) in designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions, preferably with a focus on GCP and Google services. Relevant certifications such as Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect or similar certifications are highly desirable. Strong understanding of GCP services and products, including Google Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine, Google Cloud Storage, Google Cloud Functions, Google Cloud Pub/Sub, Google Cloud Datastore, etc. Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. Knowledge of networking concepts, security best practices, and monitoring tools in cloud environments. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Dev Ops practices, and Agile methodologies. Develop and configure Google Cloud services and products, including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, and machine learning. Collaborate with software engineers and application teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with cloud services. Optimize performance and cost-efficiency of cloud infrastructure and services. Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure for performance, availability, and security. Implement and maintain automation scripts, infrastructure as code, and configuration management tools for streamlined provisioning and management of resources. Perform regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and ensure data integrity in cloud environments. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to cloud computing and Google services. Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and implement necessary controls to protect cloud infrastructure and data. Collaborate with the security team to develop and maintain incident response plans and conduct security incident investigations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, operations, and support, to understand requirements and provide technical expertise. Create and maintain technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base articles.
