About the role
Role Overview
The Internal Recruiter will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, and hiring high-performing Employee Benefits and Commercial Lines producers across the United States. This role plays a strategic part in the firm’s organic growth strategy, supporting both experienced producer lift-outs and next-generation sales talent recruitment. The recruiter will partner closely with regional leadership, practice leaders, and M&A teams to identify producer talent capable of bringing or building significant books of business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a national recruiting strategy targeting EB and CL producers.
- Identify high-revenue producers ($500k–$5M books) in competitor brokerages.
- Build pipelines through industry networking, referrals, and market mapping.
- Partner with leadership to create competitive recruiting packages (comp + equity).
- Source candidates through Insurance industry networks, LinkedIn Recruiter, Insurance associations, competitor firm mapping
- Assess Producer candidates based on Book of business size and retention, Carrier relationships, Industry specialization, Growth track record, Cultural fit
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field
- 5+ years recruiting experience, ideally within insurance brokerage, financial services, professional services
