Internal Sales Engineer

A leading player in the industrial processing sector is looking for a technically strong Internal Sales Engineer to manage projects and key accounts from initial enquiry through to commissioning and after-sales support.

This role is ideal for a mechanically minded engineer who enjoys combining technical design, client interaction, quotations, and project coordination within a structured office-based environment.

This role suits a structured, technically capable engineer who enjoys ownership of projects and long-term client relationships.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering (BEng / BTech / BSc / Trade or Draughting qualification with strong technical background)
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
• Ability to manage projects from enquiry through to completion
• Good communication and client-facing skills
• Willingness to travel locally to sites when required

Responsibilities

• Manage key accounts and technical customer requirements
• Support projects from design, quotation, and costing through to commissioning
• Prepare technical proposals and sales documentation
• Coordinate internally with engineering and production teams
• Conduct occasional site visits and support commissioning activities
• Maintain strong customer relationships and after-sales support
