YOUR ROLE IN OUR TEAM
The international project manager will support the growth and structuring of SOPREMA international businesses in the following regions: Mexico, Asia-Pacific and Middle East. The candidate will actively contribute to accelerating the development of the local subsidiaries, in tight cooperation with the local managements and teams, and with the relevant departments in SOPREMA Inc.
THE CHALLENGES WE HAVE FOR YOU
- Follow and support the commercial and operational strategic projects in SOPREMA’s subsidiaries in the Asia-Pacific region (China, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand), in tight cooperation with the local managements and teams;
- Facilitate and/or coordinate the work between SOPREMA Canada’s experts and the local teams, in execution of these projects;
- Produce regular reports to the top management regarding the commercial, industrial, operational and financial performance of the international subsidiaries;
- Facilitate requests from international subsidiaries to SOPREMA Canada, with the help of your supervisor;
- Support the logistics of events involving the international team, and of visits from foreign team-members or customers.
THE SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Your education
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or international business;
- At least 3 years of experience in international business, consulting or project management.
Your knowledge
- Multidisciplinary profile;
- Prior international experience (study, internship, work) a must. Experience in a country of Asia-Pacific preferred;
- Language skills: professional proficiency in French and English required, knowledge of an Asian language preferred;
- Knowledge of international logistics an asset;
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Tableau, ERP and task management software(s) a plus.

- Flexibility, ability to handle and prioritized on multiple tasks;
- Superior problem-solving abilities;
- Excellent analytical, quantitative and writing skills;
- Ability to adjust to multiple work cultures and paces.
Working Conditions
- Must be able to work approximately 2 to 3 evenings per week, due to different time zones;
- Must be flexible.
