Software Tester Intern

About This Role

Join us as a Software Tester Intern at 600 March Rd in Ottawa. This hands-on role will enable you to write scripts, execute test plans, and improve software quality over four months.

This internship is tailored for students pursuing a degree or diploma in Computer Science or Software Engineering. You will work with various programming languages, develop testing scripts, validate features, and investigate defects, making a tangible impact on our software products while gaining professional experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for product validation
• Create scripts and applications to simulate activities
• Investigate and resolve product defects identified during tests
• Maintain and update performance test beds
• Publish results and enhance test functionalities

Requirements

• Currently studying Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Proficient in Python, Java, and JavaScript
• Basic knowledge of automation frameworks (Mocha)
• Ability to learn in a rapid, innovative setting
• Experience in UNIX or Windows settings
