Inventory Cost Accountant

Our client is a renowned food and beverage manufacturing company and they are looking to to hire an Inventory Cost Accountant with minimum of five years experience in the FMCG sector.

Responsibilities

• Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports, comparing budget costs to actual production costs and conduct product margin reporting and analysis for Beverages.

• Carry-out financial analysis and evaluation of material costs, costs of sales and other overheads, compare actual costs to estimates, analyze variances and generate relevant information for management decision-making.

• Conduct analysis of raw material and packaging standard costs for accuracy on annual basis.

• Assist in the improvement of internal controls related to inventory.

• Work closely with relevant process owners to obtain necessary information required for compilation, documentation and analysis of costs.

• Carry out monthly stock count, analyze variances and perform reconciliation.

Requirements

• First degree or its equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other related discipline.

• Professional Certification, e.g. ACA, ACCA, CFA, etc. is required.

• Minimum of 5 years job relevant experience in any FMCG Company.
