We are seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious Investment Analyst to join the hedge fund allocation group that sits within a larger $3 b+ hedge fund operation. This role offers meaningful exposure to the financial markets, manager sourcing, due diligence, portfolio construction and risk management. The ideal candidate is a high‑functioning self‑starter who can effectively collaborate within a small team setting. The individual should possess strong analytical rigor, attention to detail and the ability to synthesize both quantitative and qualitative metrics into clear, actionable investment insights/recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and cultivate market contacts to source and evaluate new investment opportunities
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative due diligence on external hedge fund managers across multiple strategies
• Monitor existing manager relationships, including performance, risk and organizational developments
• Maintain internal research databases and documentation with precision and confidentiality
• Collaborate with investment, legal and operational due diligence teams
• Prepare written reports that support portfolio construction and capital allocation decisions
• Some domestic and/or international travel may be required for on‑site due diligence

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree (BS, BA) required
• 0‑4 years of experience in the financial industry
• Internship experience, graduate degree and/or professional designation (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus

Compensation and Benefits

• Base pay anticipated between $75,000 and $135,000 per year (current at time of posting)
• Eligible for additional compensation such as bonus, health and dental plans, 401(k) contributions, and a discretionary profit‑sharing program
• Bonus and related compensation can be a significant portion of total compensation, determined based on skills, qualifications and experience.
