About this Role
We are seeking an Investment Analyst to join our Private Equity Partnerships Team in Madrid. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual keen to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. As part of the Private Equity Partnerships team, the successful candidate will engage in activities centering on secondaries, fund commitments, and co-investments, with particular emphasis on secondary transactions. The role is vital in supporting all phases of the investment process and contributing significantly to both deal execution and portfolio management. You will collaborate with an international team across various offices, enhancing your expertise in the impact investing sector.
Responsibilities • Conduct financial and qualitative analysis of potential investments, focusing on secondary transactions. • Perform market research and industry analyses to underpin investment theses. • Support due diligence, financial modeling, valuation, and risk assessment tasks. • Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for internal committees. • Monitor portfolio performance and maintain communications with fund managers and co-investment partners. • Contribute to quarterly and annual reporting, ensuring high-quality insights and data accuracy. • Collaborate with senior team members on deal execution and portfolio management activities.
Requirements • University degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. • 1–3 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or a similar financial domain. • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with financial databases. • Passion for impact investing and aligning financial objectives with social and environmental outcomes. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages like Spanish are a plus. • Strong attention to detail, self-starter attitude, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
