What You'll Do

• Identify Investment Opportunities: Recognize and evaluate promising investment opportunities in startups
• Conduct Due Diligence: Support due diligence processes as part of the deal team and provide well-founded investment recommendations
• Manage the Portfolio: Actively manage our investments in collaboration with our Investment Managers and work closely with portfolio companies
• Develop Strategies: Develop investment strategies and contribute to the further development of our direct investment approach
• Network: Build and maintain a strong network in the VC scene to generate deal flow and leverage synergies
• Present Results: Prepare meaningful investment proposals and present them convincingly to the Investment Committee

What You Bring

• Curious Operator: You have 1-3 years of operational experience in early-stage startups and want to continue working in a generalist role. We believe VC can be learned - startup experience is essential.
• Analytical Mind: We do not expect in-depth financial-mathematical knowledge beforehand, but you should have an analytical/quantitative understanding - especially regarding scalable business models.
• Exceptional Team Player: We are a small team and the role requires close collaboration with founding teams - we are looking for a strong personal fit.
• Academic Background: An outstanding university degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Strategic Thinking: The ability to understand complex business models and identify long-term value creation potential.
• Strong Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and negotiation skills in German and English.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: A hands-on mentality, combined with the ability to work independently and solution-oriented.
• Language Skills: Fluent German and English skills (C1) are mandatory.
