About the role:

We are looking for talented, bilingual individuals passionate about investment banking, particularly M&A. This position is based in the Washington, D.C. area, out of our Arlington, VA office.

As a Full-time Analyst, you will have an amazing experience learning from seasoned bankers, being an important part of different mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance projects, and you will be responsible for accomplishing different tasks.

About your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Research, analyze and interpret financial data
  • Conduct thorough research on industry trends, market conditions, and potential buyers or acquisition targets
  • Prepare and review transaction documents, including pitch books, teasers, information memoranda, and management presentations
  • Support Sr. Analysts and Associates in building and maintaining financial models (DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions) to evaluate the financial performance and value of companies
  • Support client and buyer/target outreach and fronting
  • Assist Sr. Analysts and Associates in the execution of buy and sell mandates for M&A deals
  • Help manage the due diligence process, coordinating with internal teams and clients to gather relevant data, and assess financial and operational performance
  • Lead and mentor interns in the Investment Banking Internship Program, providing guidance and development opportunities

What do you need to be successful in this role?

Hard skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, administration, engineering, or related fields
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Advanced understanding and knowledge of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, DCF)
  • Ideal to have previous experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Consulting (Not mandatory)

Soft skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • The best energy and drive to work in a dynamic environment to be able to work under pressure, strict deadlines, and frequent priority changes
