The Role at a Glance

We are looking for an Investment Community Strategist to shape Nordnet's voice and presence in the German market through social media and community engagement. In this role, you will be the face of Nordnet. You will create clear, confident, and educational content that helps our customers understand our offering and empowers them to make informed investment decisions. You will work in a small, hands-on marketing setup and collaborate closely with our central teams in the Nordics. This is your chance to build our social presence from the ground up and directly influence how German investors discover, understand, and trust Nordnet.
Your Core Tasks
- Lead Social Execution: You are responsible for the development and implementation of the social media strategy for the German market across all platforms (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and Podcasts).
- Community Engagement: You drive our presence on social media and financial forums, including proactive and reactive exchange with customers to strengthen brand preference.
- Content Creation: You create outstanding social content that transforms complex financial topics into engaging, easy-to-understand inspiration for savers and traders.
- Savings Advocacy: You build a presence within the German trading community, bring a 'savings perspective' into social discussions, and bridge the gap for customers to our active trading offering.
- Customer Feedback Loop: You keep an ear to the ground for social sentiment and pass on valuable impulses for the further development of our offering to the entire team.
- Collaborative Growth: You work closely with local customer service to manage reactive communication and cooperate with central brand & creative teams for visually strong storytelling.
- Performance Tracking: You analyze social KPIs (engagement, reach, conversion) to continuously refine our strategy based on data.
This is You
You are an experienced social media specialist and finance enthusiast who knows how content leads to conversion. You are a communication talent and know how to adapt financial messages effectively across channels. You bring a 'builder' mindset that fits perfectly into a dynamic, trust-based environment and have a genuine passion for the stock market.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in social media management, community management, or content creation, ideally within the fintech or financial services industry.
- Trading experience: A deep understanding of the stock market, including knowledge of complex products (ETFs, stocks, derivatives).
- Channel Mastery: A strong feel for algorithms and how high-impact content needs to look on the respective platforms. You have practical experience in creating short-form videos and social-first assets.
- AI & Innovation: Experience using AI tools to optimize research, idea generation, and workflow efficiency.
- Language skills: Native-level German and fluent English for cross-border collaboration.
- Mindset: A structured, proactive, and self-driven work approach with excellent networking skills.
