Summary of Role
The Investment Product Specialist plays a central role in supporting the Asset Management (AM) team by managing and enhancing the suite of investment marketing materials, data outputs, and operational processes. This individual will act as the key point of contact for the production, innovation, and maintenance of all product-related content and tools, ensuring consistency, compliance, and quality across jurisdictions. The role requires strong technical skills, a deep understanding of investment products, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Responsibilities
Product and Marketing Material Management
- Lead the coordination and production of investment product materials, including factsheets, presentations, and other collateral, ensuring consistency and quality across all jurisdictions.
- Maintain and enhance the suite of marketing and communication materials used to support distribution efforts globally.
- Ensure all product-related content adheres to relevant compliance and regulatory standards.
Data and Reporting
- Oversee the collation, validation, and presentation of investment data to support internal and external reporting needs.
- Manage the regular update of product-related data across platforms and systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Respond to ad hoc data and product comparison requests from internal stakeholders and distribution teams.
Operational and Governance Support
- Support the operational processes required to implement and maintain investment solutions, including documentation and platform readiness.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of governance activities, including meeting documentation and action tracking.
- Maintain key operational records such as contact lists, meeting schedules, and solution documentation.
Product Development and Regulatory Support
- Contribute to the development and launch of new investment products, including the preparation of supporting materials and documentation.
- Assist in the delivery of regulatory and compliance-related outputs, including documentation aligned with Consumer Duty and other jurisdictional requirements.
- Ensure investment content used in due diligence and proposal documents is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with global standards.
Collaboration and Global Coordination
- Work closely with the global asset management team (SA and UK) to ensure alignment of product messaging, data, and materials across regions.
- Act as a central point of contact for cross-border initiatives, supporting the global consistency of investment communications and product positioning.
- Foster strong working relationships with teams across PortfolioMetrix offices to support the delivery of high-quality, globally relevant investment content.
Knowledge, Attributes and Skills

The successful candidate will have:
- Strong understanding of investment concepts and products.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Morningstar Direct and Bloomberg an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail and data integrity.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High ethical standards and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
Experience
- Experience in a product, marketing, or operations role within asset management or financial services.
- Data analytics.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory documentation (e.g. Consumer Duty, RFPs).
- Exposure to multi-asset investment strategies and fund platforms.
- Understanding of the SA and UK financial services landscape.
Education & Qualifications
- Minimum requirement: Undergraduate degree (A numerate or finance related degree is preferred.)
- Ideal: Progress towards CFA or similar investment qualification.

The package will reflect the experience and ability of the successful candidate. This will include a salary and may include a discretionary bonus.
