About the Opportunity
- Team Leadership
- Develop, manage, train, and mentor a team of invoicing specialists ensuring they follow proper procedures and meet performance metrics.
- Make compensation recommendations on and communicate compensation decisions to all direct reports.
- Participate in any complex personnel situation, such as a termination.
- Review time and attendance of personnel on a regular basis.
- Quality Assurance
- Review and approve invoices for accuracy, completeness and timeliness before they are sent to clients to prevent financial leakage or customer dissatisfaction.
- Process Optimization
- Develop and implement new billing procedures and systems to improve invoicing efficiency and ensure compliance with regulations and customer requirement.
- Coordinate with Finance, Information Technology and branches as required to manage and implement third party payment processes, including ensuring the process works from the time service work order or purchase order is received through payment.
- Communicate procedures with branches for new customers.
- Responsible for developing and maintain tailored SOPs for the branch network and Finance based on customers’ requirements.
- Subsequently provide training to the designated employees in each branch.
- Liaise with the Sales department upon intake of new customers.
- Provide support to users of existing and new systems.
- Make decisions regarding various systems’ security as it pertains to financial information, as well as master data access.
- Dispute Resolution
- Act as a point of escalation for complex customer inquiries or discrepancies, resolving them to maintain positive client relationships.
- Financial Reporting
- Prepare and analyze monthly accounts receivable reports, billing metrics, and cash flow forecast for management review.
- Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with the credit and collection, cash application, sales, and branches to streamline the overall invoice cycle.
About You
- Education
- Bachelor's degree or Credit certification obtained.
- Experience
- Often requires 3–5+ years in billing or accounting, with prior experience in a supervisory capacity.
- Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Pay Range
$70,000- $80,000 per year
