iOS Developer

Remote

Contract Role

Experience Required: 3+ Years

Salary: #300,000 Monthly

On behalf of our client, we are hiring a skilled iOS Developer on a contract basis to build and maintain mobile applications for a rideshare platform. The ideal candidate should have strong experience building scalable iOS applications using Swift and modern iOS development practices.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance iOS applications using Swift.

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences.

• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services, including maps, payments, and notifications.

• Build and maintain features such as real-time ride tracking, ride booking, in-app payments, and communication features.

• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and fix bugs across various iOS devices.

• Implement best practices for mobile security, accessibility, and application performance.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code with proper testing.

• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

What We Are Looking For:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience developing and deploying iOS applications using Swift.

• Strong understanding of UIKit, SwiftUI, Combine, and Apple Human Interface Guidelines.

• Experience working with geolocation services such as MapKit and CoreLocation.

• Experience integrating third-party SDKs such as Stripe, Firebase, and Twilio.

• Familiarity with MVVM or Clean Architecture patterns.

• Experience using Git, CI/CD pipelines, and working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and collaboration skills.
