iOS Engineer

My client, a growing Tech company which huge scope is looking for an experienced iOS Engineer to take full ownership of a native mobile application, driving development end-to-end across key user journeys.

This is a foundational role where you will build a high-quality iOS codebase from the ground up, covering architecture, state management, networking, observability, testing, CI/CD, and releases. You’ll partner closely with Product and Design to deliver polished, intuitive experiences, while helping define the mobile strategy and how it differentiates from web.

You will collaborate with backend teams to shape API contracts and ensure a fast, resilient app. You’ll also own performance and quality across the platform, optimising startup time, navigation, rendering, offline capability, and stability, while instrumenting the app for data-driven decisions.

You’ll play a key role in defining the long-term mobile platform, scaling the codebase, setting best practices, and helping build out the iOS function.

Requirements

• 5+ years building production iOS apps at scale
• Strong Swift and modern iOS development experience
• Proven delivery of high-quality, polished native apps
• Experience influencing architecture of large codebases
• Comfortable working with backend teams on APIs
