About the role

Role Overview

As an Embedded Hardware Engineer at the company in Pune, you will be responsible for the following core responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities

  • Designing and developing embedded hardware circuits for IoT devices and edge controllers
  • Implementing and configuring MQTT and LoRaWAN communication stacks
  • Integrating sensors, edge devices, and gateways with cloud platforms and dashboards
  • Configuring and testing LoRaWAN networks including end-nodes, gateways, and network servers
  • Developing and debugging firmware for microcontrollers and connectivity modules
  • Collaborating with software engineers to build APIs, validate payloads, and ensure data accuracy
  • Conducting performance testing, security checks, and ensuring solution reliability

Required Skills

  • Background in electronics engineering and embedded hardware design
  • Strong knowledge of MQTT, LoRaWAN, and IoT protocols such as Modbus, TCP/IP, and RS485
  • Experience with LoRaWAN gateways and network servers like TTN, ChirpStack, and Helium
  • Hands‑on experience with microcontrollers like ESP32, STM32, Arduino, etc.
  • Proficiency in firmware development using C, C++, and Python
  • Understanding of sensor integration, edge computing, and cloud IoT stacks such as AWS IoT, ThingsBoard, and Azure IoT Hub

Preferred Experience

  • 2‑5 years of experience in IoT hardware and software development, including LoRaWAN deployments
