Job Title: ISR Processing, Exploitation and Dissemination (PED) Specialist Location: Joint Staff / National Capital Region Position Overview The Garrett Group is seeking a mid-level ISR specialist to support Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) planning and execution for the Joint Staff ISR mission. This role supports global ISR allocation and integration efforts, with growing emphasis on space-based ISR capabilities, emerging satellite constellations, and cross-domain intelligence integration. Duties and Responsibilities As an ISR Planning and Execution Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting PED operations and ISR integration: • Collaborate in the development of ISR allocation recommendations within the Global Force Management (GFM) process, identifying PED capability, capacity, planning factors, and sourcing solutions. • Provide PED inputs (e.g., communications architecture, exploitation crews, PED nodes) to support ISR planning and allocation. • Monitor and report on the status of DoD PED equipment, nodes, and units, including emerging ISR capabilities. • Ensure alignment of PED activities with Combatant Command ISR execution and maintain PED situational awareness. • Respond to PED Requests for Information (RFIs) and resolve PED-related management issues. • Coordinate with Military Services, Combatant Commands, Combat Support Agencies (CSAs), Allies/Partners, OSD, and Intelligence Community stakeholders. • Serve as a liaison to intelligence community elements, participating in working groups, exercises, and senior-level coordination forums. • Support senior-level forums, including: • J-32 PED Working Group • OUSD(I)/Services Joint PED Summit • O-6/AO working groups and GFM-related forums • Develop and deliver briefings, reports, and decision-support products for senior leadership. Required Experience • Minimum 6 years of experience in reach-back/distributed PED planning and execution within a Service intelligence organization, Combatant Command, or Joint Staff environment. Required Qualifications • Minimum 6 years of PED planning and execution experience (reach-back/distributed environments). • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Access). • Demonstrated ability to produce and present high-quality written and oral products to senior leaders (O-6, GS-15, SES). • Strong understanding of ISR processes, PED operations, and joint planning constructs. Additional Desired Qualifications • Experience supporting Joint Staff (J2/J3/J32), Combatant Command, or national-level ISR planning environments. • Background in space policy and space-based ISR, including familiarity with emerging satellite constellations and space-domain integration. • Experience acting as a liaison to Intelligence Community (IC) organizations, including participation in working groups, exercises, and interagency coordination forums. • Experience in one or more ISR disciplines: • GEOINT (including GEOINT collection management) • Airborne ISR operations • SIGINT • Familiarity with Global Force Management (GFM) processes and ISR allocation frameworks. • Experience in government policy development, defense acquisition processes, or capability integration. • Knowledge of multi-INT integration (GEOINT, SIGINT, HUMINT, OSINT) and PED synchronization. • Familiarity with ISR systems and PED architectures (e.g., distributed exploitation nodes, DCGS or similar environments). • Experience supporting interagency and coalition coordination efforts. • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance (or ability to obtain/maintain). **The Garrett Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
