IT-Business Analyst

Your Responsibilities

• You are the connecting element between functional requirements and technical implementation, contributing decisively to turning ideas into effective and future-oriented solutions.
• You actively shape the further development and integration of the IT architecture around GenAI and Conversational AI platforms, working closely with colleagues within the squad and with other stakeholders in the tribe, ING Germany, and also internationally within the ING Group.
• You use your expertise in AI and GenAI to evaluate, analyze, and co-design new and planned use cases.
• You document requirements and processes routinely and with a high quality standard, for example using BPMN.
• Additionally, we rely on your sound IT engineering knowledge, especially in the context of microservice architectures, API design, and data and integration processes (e.g., ETL pipelines).
• Continuous further development is a matter of course for you, as is your joy in sharing IT and AI topics within the squad and beyond.
• You also impress in (international) teamwork with your open, communicative, and reliable manner.
• You actively promote exchange, contribute new ideas and modern agile methods, and thus make a tangible contribution to efficiency and project success.
• You prepare meaningful analyses and reports for stakeholders and senior management and derive clear, actionable recommendations from them.
• Naturally, we can rely on you to drive your tasks forward with high initiative and great commitment, while always keeping a clear focus on pragmatic and effective solutions.

Your Profile

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or comparable qualification
• At least three years of professional experience as a Business Analyst and sound knowledge in Requirements Engineering
• Practical experience with GenAI
• Very good understanding of modern IT architectures (e.g., microservices, APIs, ETL, integration concepts) and Conversational Architectures (chatbots, AI agents, backend integration)
• Know-how in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google DialogFlow; knowledge of Google Engagement Suite (CES) or Gemini Enterprise for Customer Experience (GECX) is an advantage
• Quick comprehension, strong analytical thinking, and pronounced problem-solving skills
• Enthusiasm for new technologies and high willingness to learn and develop further in agile working environments
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, combined with a team- and solution-oriented approach
• Innovative spirit and a sense for sustainable solutions
• Very good German and English, both written and spoken
