About This Role

This role supports the client's global trade and product lifecycle management ecosystem by bridging IT systems with business stakeholders, translating regulatory and compliance requirements into actionable data and analytics solutions.

Job Summary

  • Manage OCR-related workflows and support additional workstreams across multiple enterprise applications, with up to four concurrent projects at a time
  • Integrate global trade compliance tools into PLM systems, operating in the business analyst space between IT and business units
  • Translate business requirements from cross-functional stakeholders into analytical deliverables and data-driven solutions
  • Support document management and control processes for engineering and EPM documentation, including CAD-related information
  • Apply knowledge of IP protection principles, including security restrictions tied to military and government compliance requirements
  • Collaborate independently with business teams to assess, classify, and manage trade compliance obligations across global jurisdictions
  • Liaise between the client's IT organization and global trade services functions to ensure system alignment and regulatory adherence

Minimum Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst with exposure to regulatory compliance, international trade, or trade compliance environments
  • Hands-on experience with OCR EASE (license management across government agencies) or SAP GTS as an equivalent IT analyst tool
  • Working knowledge of IP protection principles and the security restrictions associated with military and government-related programs
  • Familiarity with engineering document management, including CAD information and EPM documentation control
  • Experience with PTC Windchill PLM or similar PLM systems built on Oracle database infrastructure
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and independently with business stakeholders, translating business needs into data and analytics outputs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with JCA (Jurisdiction Classification and Assessment) and KYG (Know Your Goods) compliance platforms
  • Knowledge of ITAR requirements for US export compliance
  • Exposure to SCOMET (India), UK Military, or other international trade regulations
  • Background in or familiarity with manufacturing IP considerations on the IT side
  • Prior experience in environments supporting large-scale global trade operations, such as defense contractors or multinational manufacturing firms
