We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst – Data & Analytics to support global technology initiatives focused on enterprise data platforms, including Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), Data Fabric, and Advanced Analytics. This role will act as a critical liaison between business stakeholders, data product owners, and IT delivery teams, translating analytical and data-driven business needs into scalable, high-quality data solutions.
The ideal candidate brings strong Agile/Scrum and DevOps experience, deep exposure to data and analytics initiatives, and the ability to work effectively with global, cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Agile Delivery & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Lead for data and analytics initiatives, facilitating ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Partner closely with business stakeholders, data consumers, and product owners to elicit, analyze, document, and validate data and analytics requirements
- Lead stakeholder engagement to support data solution definition, prioritization, and delivery planning across analytics, reporting, and data platform initiatives
Data & Analytics Focus
- Translate business needs into data-centric functional and non-functional requirements, including user stories and acceptance criteria for
- Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)
- Data Fabric / Data Integration platforms
- Advanced analytics, BI, and reporting solutions
- Collaborate with data architects, data engineers, and analytics teams to ensure alignment between business objectives, data models, pipelines, and analytics outputs
- Support initiatives related to data governance, data quality, metadata, lineage, and master/reference data
- Enable analytics use cases across finance and project-based business domains, including performance management, forecasting, and operational insights
Planning, Estimation & DevOps Collaboration
- Support estimation, roadmap planning, and backlog management for data and analytics products
- Work closely with DevOps and platform teams to support CI/CD for data pipelines, release planning, and deployment activities
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise data standards, security, and compliance requirement
Global Collaboration
- Work effectively with global IT and data teams across the US, India, and Australia, accommodating multiple time zones
- Facilitate clear communication between business, analytics, and technical teams in a distributed delivery model
Here's what you'll need
- Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst supporting data, analytics, or data platform initiatives in an agile environment
- Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile delivery frameworks, and DevOps practices
- Hands-on experience working with
- Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW)
- Data integration / data fabric concepts
- BI, reporting, or advanced analytics solutions
- Experience supporting finance and project-based business analytics
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business questions into actionable data and analytics requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work with distributed global teams across multiple regions and time zones
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills
Preferred
- Prior experience in contract-to-hire roles or similar transition models
- Scrum Master or Agile certification (CSM, SAFe, or equivalent)
- Experience working in large, matrixed or global organizations
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent – MIS / Information systems

The base salary range for this position is $120,000.00 to $145,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
