Schwarz Digits schafft das technologische Fundament für digitale Entscheidungsfreiheit in Europa. Als IT- und Digitalsparte der Schwarz Gruppe entwickeln und verantworten wir einerseits die IT-Infrastrukturen für die Handelssparten Lidl und Kaufland sowie die Schwarz Produktion und PreZero. Gleichzeitig agieren wir als unabhängiger Anbieter am externen Markt, um Unternehmen in ganz Europa bei ihrer digitalen Transformation zu unterstützen. Als Teil unseres Teams gestaltest du die Kubernetes-Plattform, auf der unseren geschäftskritischen Services laufen. Wir suchen keine Verwalter, sondern Architekten der Automatisierung, die Developer Experience und Hochverfügbarkeit auf das nächste Level heben.

Your Responsibilities

• Platform Evolution: You are responsible for the operation and further development of our central Kubernetes environments and build self-service solutions to make the work of our developer teams more efficient.
• SRE & Stability: You use Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) methods as well as modern monitoring and tracing to ensure the performance of our services.
• Security & Automation: You anchor security checks and policy-as-code directly in the CI/CD pipelines and manage our clusters modernly via GitOps (e.g., ArgoCD).
• Infrastructure-as-Code: You consistently develop the automation of our cloud infrastructure and services with tools like Terraform or Controlplane.
• Tech-Consulting & Enablement: You advise our internal development teams on the architecture of cloud-native applications and promote knowledge transfer around modern cloud technologies.

Your Profile

• Container Expertise: You have profound experience with Docker images and master deployment within Kubernetes (e.g., using Helm).
• Automation Pro: You are confident in using modern environments (CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, GitOps/DevOps).
• Cloud Experience: You have practical experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure, or Telekom/STACKIT).
• IT Foundation: You have very good general IT knowledge in the areas of Linux, network, PKI, and Identity Providers (IDP).
• Communication Skills: You enjoy working closely with customers and teams and have very good German and good English skills.
• Qualification: You have successfully completed a degree or training with an IT focus, or possess a comparable qualification.
