About the role
As a Linux System Administrator Cloud Administrator at Motorola Solutions, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems supporting core organizational functions.
**Role Overview:** As a Linux System Administrator Cloud Administrator, you will: - Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems across the organization, ensuring optimal performance. - Manage cloud-based resources and services within providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. - Automate tasks using scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Perl. - Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of services and infrastructure. - Implement and maintain security measures, including firewall configurations and patch management. - Collaborate with network staff and vendors for problem resolution. - Oversee disaster recovery plans and document configurations and procedures.
