Description

  • Working within an agile and cross-functional squad to collaborate across design activities, create content decks, and contribute to overall client experience in the digital space.
  • In our team, content is a core contributor to our design strategy. They’re expected to lead and facilitate workshops and help inform interaction design from the perspective of content.

Duties / Responsibilities

  • The content designer will be supporting multiple cross functional squads and collaborating with other designers, product owners, business analyst, and developers. The role will focus on providing clients clear and concise content that is designed to improve the digital experience in the context of a structured design framework.
  • They will be working closely with stakeholders, understanding requirements and advocating for scalable design decisions. They should have familiarity with mobile-first and content-first design principles and apply those principles to help inform interaction design.
  • They’re expected to participate in design activities and contribute a point-of-view from a content perspective.

  • Collaborative, organized, critical thinkers, curious, detail orientated.
  • They should take a structured, systematic approach to content design, understanding how their decisions align to a broader system.
  • They should also understand UX design and have the ability to advocate for their designs

Future State of Success

  • Able to shift between varying types of design problems – such as a content-first workshop to translation work.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Must Haves

  • UX writing
  • Content design system experience from a content lens
  • Presentation skills
  • Experience in Agile and working with other designers/teams; knowledge of development cycle
  • Figma

Nice to Have

  • Design research, workshop facilitation
