As part of a direct placement, we are looking for a full-time IT Engineer (m/f/d) with a focus on IT Security & Network Technology for our client, an internationally operating company in Ravensburg. Ref. 45007

Responsibilities

  • Operation, administration, and further development of the group-wide network and security infrastructure
  • Administration and expansion of the next-generation firewall environment, including network segmentation and security policies
  • Support and optimization of multi-vendor switching environments and complex routing scenarios
  • Design, implementation, and operation of remote access, VPN, and secure access solutions for mobile users and external partners
  • Design and implementation of security architectures as well as development of comprehensive network security concepts for the entire corporate group
  • Management of medium-sized technical projects and participation in cross-departmental and cross-border IT and security projects
  • Management and coordination of external service providers and collaboration with cross-functional teams within the group

Requirements

  • Successfully completed studies in Computer Science, Business Informatics, IT Forensics, IT Security, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
  • Sound professional experience as a Network and Security Engineer (m/f/d), Senior Network Engineer (m/f/d), IT Security Engineer (m/f/d), IT Security Manager (m/f/d), Information Security Officer (m/f/d), or Cyber Defence Specialist (m/f/d)
  • Sound knowledge of network technologies, IT security, and firewalls
  • Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • Strong communication skills combined with a goal-oriented approach and a passion for IT

Requirements

  • Fundierte Berufserfahrung als Netzwerk- und Security Engineer (m/w/d), Senior Network Engineer (m/w/d), IT-Security Engineer (m/w/d), IT Security Manager (m/w/d), Information Security Officer (m/w/d) oder Cyber Defence Specialist (m/w/d)
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse in Netzwerktechnologien, IT-Security und Firewalls
  • Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
  • Ausgeprägte Kommunikationsfähigkeit gepaart mit einer zielorientierten Arbeitsweise und Freude an der IT

Responsibilities

  • Betrieb, Administration und Weiterentwicklung der gruppenweiten Netzwerk- und Security-Infrastruktur
  • Administration und Ausbau der Next-Generation Firewall-Umgebung inklusive Netzwerksegmentierung und Sicherheitsrichtlinien
  • Betreuung und Optimierung von Multi-Vendor Switching-Umgebungen sowie komplexen Routing-Szenarien
  • Konzeption, Implementierung und Betrieb von Remote-Access-, VPN- und Secure-Access-Lösungen für mobile Nutzer und externe Partner
  • Entwurf und Implementierung von Sicherheitsarchitekturen sowie Entwicklung umfassender Netzwerksicherheitskonzepte für die gesamte Unternehmensgruppe
  • Leitung mittlerer technischer Projekte sowie Mitarbeit in bereichs- und länderübergreifenden IT- und Security-Projekten
  • Steuerung und Koordination externer Dienstleister sowie Zusammenarbeit mit cross-funktionalen Teams innerhalb der Gruppe
