About the role

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT HR Project Manager to lead and deliver cross-functional projects within the HR technology domain. This role involves managing medium to large-scale enterprise initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and driving successful project execution from initiation through closure.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in HR systems and transformations, along with proven project management capabilities in complex, multi-vendor environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management for IT HR initiatives, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and budget
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules (MS Project), and financial forecasts
  • Conduct weekly status meetings and present updates to stakeholders, including C-level executives
  • Manage project risks, issues, and change control processes proactively
  • Coordinate with vendors, system integrators, and consulting partners
  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder alignment meetings
  • Ensure adherence to PMO standards, governance, and compliance requirements
  • Track QA/UAT activities and reporting (preferably using qTest)
  • Maintain detailed project documentation and reporting artifacts
  • Drive continuous improvement and best practices in project delivery

Required Qualifications

  • 8–10 years of Project Management experience, with a strong focus on HR systems
  • Hands-on experience with HR platforms such as:
    • Workforce Management systems
    • Kronos
    • SuccessFactors
    • SAP HR / HCM
  • Proven experience managing:
    • Multi-million-dollar projects
    • Large, cross-functional teams
    • Multi-vendor environments
  • Strong understanding of:
    • SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle)
    • Agile or hybrid project environments
  • Experience in HR transformation initiatives
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with qTest or similar QA/UAT tracking tools
  • Prior experience in Oil & Gas or Energy sector
  • Background in HR domain (former HR professional turned PM is a strong plus)
