IT Infrastructure and Deployment Engineer

The successful candidate will manage Linux-based environments, oversee deployments of the companys platform into customer infrastructure, maintain PostgreSQL databases (including replication), and ensure security and reliability of production systems. This role blends hands‑on systems administration, secure software rollout, and operational leadership ideal for someone ready to own IT end‑to‑end in a technical, fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, virtualized servers, and internal systems.
• Oversee deployment and upgrades of the companys platform across customer environments.
• Maintain PostgreSQL databases, replication, and system backups.
• Lead cybersecurity efforts: patching, vulnerability management, and hardening.
• Support release management for daily, weekly, and sprint deployments.
• Provide IT support, documentation, and ensure operational continuity.

Requirements

• 58 years experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or DevOps roles.
• Strong Linux and cybersecurity background (e.g., RHEL/CentOS).
• Experience with PostgreSQL, virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V), and networking.
• Scripting/automation skills (Bash, Python, or Ansible).
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication skills, and an ownership mindset.
• Experience with containerization/Kubernetes preferred.

Education

• Related bachelors degree or equivalent qualification.
