Your Role

You are responsible for the stable operation of our customer platforms and ensure that our PIM/PXM solutions run reliably. You will work with technologies such as Docker, Linux, and SQL in modern cloud and hosting environments and be part of a small support team with close collaboration with customers and development.

You will contribute to a dynamically evolving software stack that we use to support our customers in providing consistent digital product data. The team has close contact with our customers and develops efficient, future-proof solutions in collaboration with them. Open communication and short decision-making paths characterize us as a team.

Responsibilities

  • You ensure the stable, secure, and performant operation of our PIM/PXM solutions for renowned customers.
  • You install, operate, and maintain our customer systems and SaaS environments (Docker) – from setup to live operation.
  • You work with modern technologies such as Docker, Linux, SQL databases, and Apache Tomcat in cloud and hosting environments.
  • You monitor our systems with monitoring tools like Atera and Uptrends, analyze disruptions, and are the first point of contact in 1st-level support.
  • You work closely with hosting providers and your team and continuously develop our operational and monitoring processes.

Requirements

  • You have sound knowledge in the operation of web applications and web servers, as well as a good understanding of system and network interrelationships.
  • You have very good knowledge of Linux (e.g., Ubuntu) and Windows in productive use.
  • You ideally have experience with Docker, SQL databases, and operating applications in hosting or cloud environments.
  • You enjoy direct exchange with customers and colleagues and can communicate technical topics understandably.
  • You think with stability and security in mind – topics like monitoring, troubleshooting, and cyber security are a matter of course for you.
  • You work in a structured, self-reliant manner and actively contribute to the team.

Team

  • You are part of our 10-person Professional Services team, with 3 colleagues forming our support team.
  • In the support team, you will take over the technical operation of our systems, while your colleagues focus on application questions regarding our software products.
  • You work closely with our two development teams, each responsible for one of our software products.
  • For collaboration, we use modern tools like Slack, Jira, and Confluence, as well as Microsoft Teams and Jira Service Management in communication with our customers.
  • We rely on short coordination paths: We exchange ideas daily within the team, meet once a month on-site, and maintain open, direct communication at eye level.

You work in a small, well-coordinated team with a lot of personal responsibility and direct influence on our customer projects.
