Your role in the team

• You build networks that connect and protect companies.
• Network Intelligence at TOMORIS is not a traditional 'Network Admin' topic.
• It is high-end infrastructure, security, performance, and stability - combined with cutting-edge technologies from Fortinet, Microsoft & Azure.
• As part of the TOMORIS Network Intelligence team, you will work on complex, mission-critical structures such as:
  • Firewalls (Fortinet / FortiGate / FortiSwitch / FortiAP)
  • Network architectures (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
  • VPN and site networking (IPSec, SSL, Dynamic)
  • Routing & Switching (Layer 2/3)
  • Monitoring & Security Automation
  • Azure Networking (VNets, Routing, Gateways, S2S, ExpressRoute)
  • Zero Trust Access & Network Hardening

Responsibilities

• Design and operation of LAN/WLAN/WAN infrastructures
• Routing, Switching, VLAN design, segmentation
• Configuration & Tuning of Network Hardware
• Administration and implementation of Fortinet firewalls
• Creation & Maintenance of Security Policies
• VPN concepts, ZTNA, NAT, firewall hardening
• Logging, Monitoring, Security Event Analysis
• Azure VNet Design
• S2S VPN, Routing, Subnetting
• Network Security & Governance
• PRTG / FortiAnalyzer / FortiManager
• Analysis of bottlenecks, traffic, security events
• Troubleshooting & RCA (Root Cause Analysis)
• Network Modernizations
• Location Networking & Rollouts
• Wi-Fi planning & lighting
• Consulting our clients on network issues
• Documentation in Jira / Notion
• Development of standards, templates, SOPs
• Handover to Operations & Security

• This position falls under ST1 - Special Activities (technical) according to the IT collective agreement.
• Entry level ST1: € 3,267 gross per month
• Level ST1: € 3,954 gross per month
• Experience Level: € 4,476 gross per month
• For higher seniority / project responsibility: ST2 - Special activities with increased responsibility
• Entry Level ST2: € 4,061 gross/month
• Level ST2: € 4,611 gross per month
• Level ST2 Experience: € 5,444 gross per month
• The minimum salary for the position of IT Network Intelligence is €4,061.00 gross per month based on full-time employment. Willingness to pay above this amount.

Experience

• Experience in network technology (Routing, Switching, VLAN, DHCP, DNS)
• Firewall experience (ideally Fortinet, alternatively Sophos/Palo Alto)
• Experience with Azure Networking
• Experience in WLAN planning
• Experience with monitoring tools
