About Us

Pro Senectute Kanton Zürich is a private, non-profit foundation dedicated to the well-being of older people for over 100 years. We are the most important specialist organization for all questions related to aging. With diverse services and consulting, we competently support seniors, their relatives, and authorities and institutions throughout the canton.

We are a well-coordinated team of three in IT-Operations and are looking for reinforcement starting September 1, 2026, or by agreement, as an IT-Operations Engineer (60-100%).

Together with our external IT partner, who supports us in server, security, and support, we ensure stable IT operations.

You will ensure the smooth daily operation of our IT environment and continuously develop our modern workplace and system landscape. A diverse mix of support, system administration, and project tasks awaits you:

Modern Workplace & User Support

• You ensure the smooth operation of our Modern Workplace and are the first point of contact for 1st and 2nd level support.
• You manage and administer our client environments with Microsoft Intune and ensure standardized, secure device management.

Infrastructure, Network & Identity

• You configure, operate, and maintain Windows Servers in close collaboration with our external IT service provider.
• You manage users, groups, and permissions in Active Directory as well as in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Together with external partners, you ensure the stable and secure operation of our network infrastructure.

Applications & Operations

• You manage our IT applications such as M365, the Tocco course management system, and coordinate maintenance work and updates with external partners.
• You understand how our systems work and can quickly find relevant data, configurations, or logs for analysis and troubleshooting when needed.
• You automate recurring IT processes and support the transition of projects into productive operation (Transition to run).

Your Profile

• You have completed training as an IT specialist (EFZ), ICT specialist (EFZ), or have comparable practical experience.
• You have already gained initial experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar field.
• You have initial exposure to Microsoft technologies such as M365, Azure, Windows Server, or Intune and want to develop further in these areas.
• You have a good understanding of interrelationships and are characterized by a networked and process-oriented way of thinking.
• With your healthy drive for innovation, you recognize when existing tools reach their limits and evaluate new solutions.
• You are a team player who enjoys communicating personally with people and understands IT as a service.
