IT Operations Engineer

Your role in the team

• You continuously operate, monitor, and develop our Cloud and Hybrid IT infrastructure (Azure & Microsoft 365).
• They ensure the stable, secure, and high-performance operation of our IT services and systems.
• You are responsible for monitoring, incident, and problem management, including sustainable error analysis and resolution.
• You are actively working on automating operational processes (e.g., via PowerShell, Azure Automation, etc.).
• You are responsible for Identity & Access Management (Azure AD / Entra ID, RBAC, Conditional Access, PIM).
• You manage and optimize our company-wide applications and platforms.
• You contribute to the implementation and further development of IT security measures (e.g., in the context of ISO 27001).
• They coordinate external service providers and assist in the implementation of IT projects.
• You are the point of contact for 1st and 2nd level support and assist with complex technical issues.

Our expectations:

Qualifications

• You possess good to very good knowledge of Microsoft Cloud technologies (Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID) as well as in the areas of Monitoring, Logging, and Automation.
• You have an understanding of IT security requirements and best practices.
• You know how to organize yourself efficiently and work according to set priorities.
• You are a motivated and creative team player with a strong hands-on mentality and your own ideas.
• Very good German (C1) and English skills, both written and spoken.

Experience

• You have gained good to very good experience in the areas of IT Operations / System Administration / Cloud Engineering.
• Experience with hybrid environments (Cloud & On-Premise) and good knowledge of IT Service Management (ideally ITIL) complete your profile.

Education

• You have completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration (m/f/d) or possess a comparable qualification.
