We are currently undergoing a Cloud Transformation (AWS) and are seeking a passionate System Administrator with solid expertise in cloud environment administration, ideally AWS. In this role, you will manage our customers' on-premise environments and our growing number of AWS cloud environments. Apply now and become part of a team actively shaping the future of the company!
Responsibilities
- Operation and further development of our SaaS cloud environments, including proactive optimization measures and incident management
- Remote administration of customer systems in hospital environments with high personal responsibility for error analysis and resolution
- Active co-design of modern cloud architectures in close collaboration with AWS as the primary cloud partner
- Ensuring stable and secure operation of our on-premise infrastructures and SaaS cloud environments
- Further development of our cross-product SaaS portfolio through technical expertise and innovative impulses
- Planning and execution of system updates for various technologies and our hospital information system Orbis®
- Support in expanding our Infrastructure as Code base through constructive feedback and practical improvement suggestions
- Execution of extensions and upgrades of existing IT infrastructures, including troubleshooting and performance analysis
- Close collaboration with product teams to continuously improve cloud services and integrations
- Conception and implementation of optimization measures for both cloud and on-premise environments
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist or a technical degree
- Solid practical experience with AWS, particularly with EC2, RDS (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MariaDB), EKS, Route53, and Transit Gateway
- Experience in operating Windows and Linux server systems
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code, e.g., Terraform or OpenTofu
- Solid knowledge of network technologies, especially in cloud environments
- Knowledge of database systems such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MariaDB is an advantage
- Experience with automation and configuration management tools like Ansible or SaltStack is an advantage
- Experience in IT security is an advantage
- High reliability, sense of responsibility, and professional customer interaction
- Good communication skills, team orientation, and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken

Requirements

Responsibilities
- Betrieb und Weiterentwicklung unserer SaaS-Cloud-Umgebungen, inklusive proaktiver Optimierungsmaßnahmen und Störungsbearbeitung
- Remote-Administration von Kundensystemen im Krankenhausumfeld mit hoher Eigenverantwortung bei Fehleranalyse und -behebung
- Aktive Mitgestaltung moderner Cloud-Architekturen in enger Zusammenarbeit mit AWS als primärem Cloud-Partner

- Unterstützung beim Ausbau unserer Infrastructure-as-Code-Basis durch konstruktives Feedback und praxisnahe Verbesserungsvorschläge
- Durchführung von Erweiterungen und Upgrades bestehender IT-Infrastrukturen inklusive Troubleshooting und Performanceanalysen
- Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Produktteams, um Cloud-Services und -Integrationen kontinuierlich zu verbessern
- Konzeption und Umsetzung von Optimierungsmaßnahmen für Cloud- und On-Premise-Umgebungen gleichermaßen
