IT Platform Engineer - Automation & System Operations (m/w/d)

Role

In this role, you will work on the stability and further development of modern IT services in complex enterprise environments. You will ensure that platforms are operated reliably and can be continuously optimized – with a clear focus on automation, security, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Operation and further development of distributed IT system landscapes in hybrid environments
• Ensuring stable application and platform operation in day-to-day business
• Analysis and processing of disruptions within structured incident processes
• Automation of recurring processes to improve efficiency and quality
• Participation in the design of modern operating and deployment processes
• Collaboration with development, infrastructure, and business departments
• Support in optimizing existing IT services

Qualifications

• Completed IT training or studies in a technical field
• Experience in operating complex IT systems or platforms
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows environments
• Basic understanding of infrastructure automation and modern operating models
• Experience with incident and operating processes
• Interest in cloud-native architectures and scalable systems
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented way of working
• Communication skills in a technical environment
